Daija Barrett

A native of Florida, Daija Barrett is the morning and midday anchor at KLST News in San Angelo.

Daija has a degree in broadcast journalism from Florida A&M University. She was a triathlete, FFA member, and ambassador of the South Florida State College Reach Out Program. While at Florida A&M, Daija was titled Miss School of Journalism & Graphic Communications, earned the Best Leadership award for the National Association of Black Journalists short course, and is an Emmy Award winner.
