Sylvia Morin is Conservatorship Program Director for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Region 9. In that position, oversees the families and children served receive services to address the trauma caused by abuse and neglect, and to achieve safety and permanency. She was instrumental in helping The WHIT Program get started with foster children in Tom Green County.
Sylvia was a caseworker for Child Protective Services for 14 ½ years, working closely with parents, children, and community stakeholders. In addition to her role as CVS Program Director, she is liaison to the McCulloch County and Tom Green County Child Services Boards. She is a graduate of Angelo State University.
Sylvia has two daughters, a son-in-law, two step-granddaughters. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and participating in boxing and CrossFit classes.
