Who can receive services?

Children currently placed in foster care are eligible services. Children must have an open case with Child Protective Services.

Where are classes held?

Tutoring sessions are held at public or university libraries. We also offer Zoom for more accessible learning.

Does The WHIT Program tutor children with 504 or IEP plans?

Currently, we are unable to tutor students who are enrolled in a 504 or IEP plan.

Do tutors have requirements that they must meet?

Yes! All tutors must pass a background check, complete training requirements, as well as comply with our session monitoring system.
