Complete the application to take the first step toward becoming a WHIT volunteer tutor. After you apply, here is what happens:
- WHIT reviews your application and contacts you.
- You complete a background check and fingerprint screening (only necessary if you have been a Texas resident for less than 2 years).
- You complete WHIT tutor training.
- You are matched with a student and begin weekly tutoring.
