About Christopher Lynn
Christopher Lynn has a broad-based business background. Most recently he was CEO of Blast Deflectors, Incorporated. Now partially retired, Mr. Lynn has been actively involved in civic life, principally in education and community health care delivery.
Mr. Lynn attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, and graduated from Stanford University. He lived and worked for five years in Switzerland, Italy, England, New York, and Chicago. In 1978 he returned to California to work for Blast Deflectors as its first employee, reporting to his father, who had founded the company 20 years earlier. In 1982 Chris became Vice President, and in 1998 he purchased the company from his family. Although his background is principally in international marketing and sales, he has also been issued US patents for several of BDI’s products and has been a licensed contractor. In his 40 years with Blast Deflectors, the company grew to a position of dominance in both domestic and international marketplaces.
An enthusiastic swimmer and triathlete, Mr. Lynn lives in Reno, Nevada, and spends extensive time in Hawaii.
