Director of Development

Makayla Davidson received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, including a minor in Addiction Disorders and Recovery Studies from Texas Tech University. Makayla then completed her studies with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University.

 

Makayla is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the State of Texas, as well as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). 

 

Makayla recently joined The WHIT Program after meaningful years in various clinical settings, emphasizing her passion for community. Her background includes counseling with the Female Community Corrections Facility, Roy K. Robb Men's Community Corrections Facility, and West Texas Counseling and Guidance. As her work with diverse populations continued, so did her understanding of the emphasis on children and their needs. As the Director of Development, she hopes to continue to serve children and their community.
