Rebekah graduated from Angelo State University (ASU) in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. While at ASU she served as a Senator on the Student Government Association, and was a member of Chi Alpha and Psi Chi.
She worked for The Children's Advocacy Center of Greater West Texas for 17 years, where she helped in many capacities that included: Court Appointed Special Advocacy, recruiting and training hundreds of volunteers, teaching teen and adult classes and conducting presentations and speeches.
 
Rebekah has presented and been a speaker at many conferences and events, such as the National CASA Conference in Seattle and at the Texas State Capitol. She has served on the board for the YMCA for over 3 years.
 
Rebekah is currently the Director of Operations for The WHIT Program Inc. She oversees over 400 volunteer tutors and children in foster care, along with developing and carry out statewide recruitment and engagement for The WHIT Program.
 
Rebekah and her husband were foster parents for nearly four years before adopting a sibling set of three, two daughters and a son. Foster care is very near and dear to her heart as she herself has past lived experience as a child in foster care, she works in the field of foster care and has fostered and adopted children out of foster care.
